Visit Kaza in July or August to come across the Ladarcha trade festival which was earlier held at Kibber. Local products get bartered at this fair and it is quite colorful.
The trip to Chandra Tal Lake will be a highlight of your trip because of its blue crystal clear water. In the summer months, greenery covers the nearby meadows bringing in flocks of cattle. If you are willing, you can even camp by the lake between June to October ( restrictions are in place now and camping near Chandrataal might be a problem now)
If you like adventures, then you should try out river rafting, trekking or even yak safari (additional tours). River rafting in Spiti and Pin provides you with picturesque views of the mountains. Some common trekking routes include Pin-Parvati, Pin-Bhaba, and Parang-La. A trek to Dhankar Lake is also possible to have a nice view of the Spiti valley.
